Early Life

Ambrose Olsen is an American male model who was born in 1985 in Homer, Alaska.  While he did not grow up planning to model, once he was discovered, he found that he enjoyed working in the industry.  Olsen began modelling in 2002 and is currently represented by Click Management.  While he has done some runway shows, Olsen mostly appears in print ads, although he has also made a few appearances in videos for different designers.

On the Runway

One of Olsen’s first runway shows was in 2005, three years after he began his modelling career and he walked in the autumn show for Alexandre Herchcovitch in New York.  He wouldn’t do any major shows for a few years, but in 2007, he returned to the runway to walk for Kim Jones in the fall show in New York.  These two runway shows are the only major events Olsen has done.  However, while he hasn’t appeared in that many shows, he is not opposed to making runway appearances and is open to doing more in the future.

In Print

Olsen has mainly appeared in print ads and magazines.  His first major appearance was in 2003 in a Hugo Boss ad campaign.  He followed this up in 2005 with a shoot for D&G, a campaign he was specifically requested for by Steven Klein.  In September, he appeared on the cover of Wonderland.  In 2006, he appeared in ads for Nautica and signed with Dior Homme skin care.  The next year, he was featured in Numero Homme, Out, GQ Style, and V Man.  He also appeared in ads for Giorgio Armani’s fragrance Extreme and in ads for their summer 2007 Pool Party campaign.  In 2008, he also appeared in V Man and Very Elle.  He has also appeared in ads for Nautica Jeans, Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent, Hugo Boss, Armani, and Dermo System.

Olsen is known for his sexy looks, and he’s not afraid to show off his body.  Many of his print ads feature him shirtless or in a small bathing suit.  His muscular build and his scruffy looks are two things that make him quite popular.  In addition to his many female fans, Olsen is also quite popular in the gay community, where he has a large following.

Personal Life

Olsen currently lives in New York, where he moved to after he began his modelling career.  He enjoys swimming and working out.
